MAR 203: le cadavre exquis

In an old surrealist game, participants drew parts of a creature without seeing the entire thing. 20 students in MAR203 have followed suit by creating a narrative in individual Web pages without knowing its overall structure. We are not the first to try this. There are several narrative versions and there's even one graphical corpse I've stumbled across. There's even an entire Surrealism Server on the Web, where you'll find the Surrealist Compliment Generator: "Thine integral refractions upon a lump of coal exhibit multiple pulmonary geysers."

Our Story Begins

As I was walking down Speedway one hot afternoon...


You may start at the beginning of the Corpse, or hop directly into the middle of the story at any point by choosing one of the segment numbers. Also, if there's a break in the Corpse, you can jump over it by using these numbers.
